This world will always be full of people that are too smart to fall for the BS fairy tales that religion conjurs up (these are not always, but usually, well educated people). And this world will always be full of weak minded individuals that are lost and need something to help them cope and they desperately grasp onto religion as a result. These are usually people that are not as well educated and are easily led. It’s the world we live in.

(It sure makes me wonder what their god was doing for eons before the creation of the universe…..what did he do, just sit around and watch daytime TV?)

I respect all religions. I have friends of many faiths. However i think that people who are overly religious are very judgemental and can even be evil. Look how many wars, conflicts and homicides have been backed by religion. I believe in God but I’m not religous, I’m spiritual.

religion is a cashcow and thats about all it offers…any intelligent person should be able to figure out how to govern their life accordingly to enable them to succeed and be happy…you do not need religion to tell you how to live or what to hope for. By following the ways of religion your just taking someones beliefs and calling them your own…most people do not think for themselves and then complain about why the world is the way it is….smarten up and think for yourself!!
